The World That Is Chryma

Capital: Wraithma, often nicknamed as "The Frozen and Blazing Hell", is the largest and most populated city within Chryma. Mostly revered as the National Center, Wraithma was the only city left standing after the Valkyrian Wars and was made unique when it was integrated with the Black Soul Crystals found in the lava oceans that began to flow after the world was changed. After the great change, the planet's climate changed dramatically. The sheer power altered their moon, causing it to split into seven moons and six suns that move at a constant revolutionary time clock. Because of the sheer gravitational pull of all the suns and the moons, time is much slower and the standard day to them increased to a standard week.

Climate (Frost-over and Char-over): Because of the suns and moons, and the slower time periods, there are two eco-changing events. The first is Char-over, also known as the time of Rebirth, which is when Chryma is a large desert of black sands, with its lava seas and oceans blazing beyond the black crystal shores. There is very little plant life to speak of during Char-over as most of the animals that live in the area feed off of geothermic energies, rocks, and different plants that live beneath and whatever they can find on the surface, mainly each other because most of the Char-over animals are carnivorous or they eat the other things described, certain crystals that bare proteins, rocks that sport geothermic energy, so and so forth. When Frost-over draws near, these creatures burrow deep into the earth, bringing them close to the lava spires so they can keep warm and adequately fed. The ones that cannot burrow either fly or run to the other side of the planet, migrating to a new location for the duration of Frost-over.

When Frost-over starts, the six suns set at one side of the horizon while the seven moons rise on the other and temperatures begin to fall at an astonishing rate. It drops so dramatically that the lava oceans freeze up, blizzards begin sweeping the deserts for the first hour of Frost-over, coating the sands with large amounts of snow. The sudden freezing causes the temperature sensitive crystals deep in the sand to change composition and release very potent rejuvenation chemicals, allowing for trees of crystal to grow and create whole forests of them across the land that Frost-over affects. When the Frost-over has fully settled in, the wildlife that thrives on the cold arrive and begin to flourish on their own. These animals are commonly omnivores, feeding on both the plants and each other when they need to or want to.

Most consider Frost-over, also known as known as The Varnishing, to be Chryma's true form, for its epic beauty and the wondrous life that spins within it, not nearly as depressing or Hellish when it is Char-over, when in reality neither Char-over or Frost-over are its true form. Before the Valkyrian Wars, it was a world of grassy fields, forests, deserts and polar regions like many other worlds. But that form has long since been lost from the power of the Chrymians that altered it and from the Valkyrians cursing the land, so that it never reclaims its lost beauty. Enthusiasts of both Frost-over and Char-over tend to agree though, that Chryma's beauty, is its cycle of change.

(The Period in which it changes from Char-over to Frost-over is usually 3 Chrymian months, which equals to three months short of two Standard Years.)

 "Chryma During Frost-over"

Language: Most Chrymians tend to speak their common language, given to them hundreds of years ago by Rathmostofar who had learned it from the Elder Gods of the Satanis. Known as Undercommon (Chiltilion or Language of the Dead), this language has a wide variety of purposes. Many use it in ritual ceremonies, for enchanting items, casting spells and hexes as well as for general speech. Though with outsiders, they tend to speak in Basic unless the outsider understands their language and can speak it fluently (if you know it but don't speak it well, it often offends them when you try as they regard their language as a corner stone to their ways).

Currency: While forms of currency don't truly exist in Chryma (mostly people give and take what they wish without monetary gain or spending), Rathmostofar realized early on that a form of currency was required to trade and obtain services from other worlds, like the influential technologies they gained that spawned the Helldogs. So, taking the House of Earth, Wind and Light into debate, they agreed that they would add currency as another use to their crystals, but instead of their Black Crystals, normally used for powers sources, construction and such, they mined Force gems to use for their trade with the outside worlds.

With the help of the Republic and the House of Water, they also implemented the Credits system. As this grew, a healthy amount of Chrymians, and outsiders who visit, began to gamble and win more crystals and/or credits, even though the gems and credits are not needed for Chrymians to purchase their goods. Outsiders, however, must do so, since they're not natural citizens and their money can easily balanced in crystals from credits, or credits to crystals, and vice-versa.

(Least to greatest in value of credits (Z). Each credit is worth about five dollars in U.S. currency: Pink=1 Z, Light Blue=10 Z, Dark Blue=20 Z, Green=30 Z, Violet=50 Z, Red & Orange=100 Z, Black=125 Z, Silver/Translucent= 150 Z, White=300 Z, Gold=600 Z. Only House Rulers and members of the House of the Divine can use Black, Silver, White and Gold crystals.)

 "Examples of Different Crystals"

Color(s): Chryma's National Colors are crimson, black and sapphire. Crimson symbolizes the blood that was split to create their nation and lead them to freedom. Black symbolizes the mourning of the dead and the rebirth of their black city as the souls of men, woman and children were turned into Necrovoids to help build the city and further serve the living Chrymians. Finally, Sapphire symbolizes the balance they achieved with each other and the outside world, bringing peace and power wherever they go to further imprint themselves in the galaxy.

Flower: Chryma's National Flower would be "The Black Rose of Death", is a type of flora only known to exist in Chryma and only appears during Frost-over. It's thorns are coated with what the Chrymians call "Life Bane". A poison that kills the victim slowly by shutting down certain systems of their body, keeping them alive as they slowly decompose before the heart finally stops. It was, and still is, used as a capital punishment against the highest traitors and criminals of their society.

"The Black Rose of Death"

Tree: Chryma's National Tree would be "The Crystal Acacia". These are the special trees that grow out from the snow during Frost-over, completely made out of crystal that act, grow and die like perfect flora. A few of these trees bear very rare, very powerful crystals that the elite soldiers use to augment their armor, lightsabers and is also used as a very exuberant medium in Chrymian fashion (which is a mix between the Victorian and Gothic styles). When the crystal is used in a lightsaber, it creates plasmaric-freezing pulsations.
In lame man terms, things that come in contact with the blade freeze to below zero temperatures and become extremely fragile. The crystal's unique properties do not affect the lightsabers cutting power or fierceness in battle, but some notice that the saber becomes slightly heavier then a normal one and many prefer to wear gloves of some kind because the metal grows very cold and can often make the hands stick to it, and, after a period of time, even produce frostbite and intense freezing of the hands to where they become brittle.
This "Ice Blade" often causes other lightsabers to short out because of its unique energy. The only ones that don't seem to have an effect are lightsabers that have their own "cooling" crystals, such as Pontite and a couple others. Lightsabers that employ a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse are also unaffected as well as lightsabers that utilize Lava Crystals.

Animal: Chryma's National Animals would have to be their "Tri-Canians" and their "Ice Hydras"
Tri-Canians are essentially brothers of the demon dog, Cerberus. Three headed dogs that, when full grown, stand up to the chest of a six foot individual. Often extremely obedient and friendly, they only grow hostile when a stranger enters their territory and their master feels threatened. Although most live in the wild during Char-over, and one of the animals that migrate to the changing climate, many like to keep them as pets within  Wraithma and keep them well protected from the cold.
Ice Hydras are exactly what they sound like. Three headed, swimming dragons that swim both in the ice and in the frozen lava oceans. Although Ice Hydras can survive in lava, their brothers, the Lava Serpents, often get too territorial with each other and the Ice Hydra swims much slower in lava, so it prefers its natural habitat. Young Ice Hydras cannot trend in lava until adulthood when their scales are able to suppress the immense heat.

Bird: Chryma's National Birds would have to "The Burning Phoenix" and "The Frost Dragon".  Similar to the Tri-Canians and the Ice Hydras, these have their own specific climates they dwell in, as most of the animals on Chryma do, but these two are unique. They build what Chrymian's refer to as Uni-Nests, essentially a dwelling made for both of them. At the mountain tops and in the lage caverns, both work together to form an adequate home that allows both to live together yet separately at the same time. By territorially marking their areas, each breed as their own "room" where they lay their eggs, take care of them so on and so forth, but have no contact from the other breed.

During Char-over, The Burning Phoenix has its own den where it has its separate eggs, nest, food supply and such. When Frost-over draws near, they would mark their room again with their scent and leave, allowing The Frost Dragon to come to the cave to return to its own room while secluding itself from The Burning Phoenix's nest, while the Phoenix can migrate to back to its old home on the other side of Chryma and resume its work with its eggs or finding a mate, so on and so forth.

"Seclusion"

Up until recently, Chryma was allied with and became a part of a vast, universal empire known as the Anubis Empire. Led by a few, strong individuals within the Sith Order, the Anubis Empire took over Chryma and ran its affairs when Rathmostofar turned traitor and became one of the Light, essentially becoming a Dark Templar and the story thus follows. However, after the birth of his clone brother, Cruor joined a small, yet potentially strong, alliance known as the Army of Light. A small band of warriors whose goal in the universe was to face off and destroy the Order of The Sith, a goal that fit well with Cruor's mindset.

After the Anubis Empire heard of this new treachery, they demanded and explanation, but they never received one except for a swift rebuttal from Cruor, stating that it wasn't their business to dictate him since he was no longer in that empire. Taking the position of his world into consideration, he summoned all of Chryma's greatest sorcerers, practitioners of the Dark Arts and magicians to begin working on the "Seclusion Spell".

Once the ritual began, Chryma was slowly transmuted into nothing but dust and was slowly transported into a new dimension, where the Anubis Empire could not touch the planet, but nor could his planet interfere in galactic affairs as well as expand into galactic trade. The only way Cruor can make it between universes is the Force Warp power which he was able to learn from Rathmostofar's Holocron. Through this way, he can make small, one time trades with planets, but when he was able to afford schematics to allow for inter-dimensional travel, his ships gained the technology to span universes. This however causes Chryma to become effectively isolated from the Republic Universe and only tourists, guests and VIPs granted permission into their realm, can enter via travel through one of their carrier ships...
