History of Chryma

Dark, foreboding, yet wondrous as a whole; The World of Chryma is marvelous to behold....yet the history behind it is less then charming. Since time is irrelevant for most of the ageless citizens of Chryma, researches had dated back time from the Republic Galaxy to the appropriate time when Chryma was first conceived, approximately 900 years before the Mandalorian Wars and the rise of Darth Malak. In other words, PMW stands for the number of years until that time period.

900 PMW: Ly'Koros is created by the God of Light, Oludamarus, and forms a legion of angelic, drone-like beings that serve as guardians and tenders to the world he made, known as the Valkyrie. The Valkyrie summon the elemental energies of the world world and split into provinces, one for each prime element, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light and Darkness and appoint rulers, creating man in the image of Oludamarus and give them sentience so they may prosper and grow their world.

750 PMW: Ly'Koros witnesses the birth of a Half-Siren, Half-Valkyrie known as Vilbrath, born in the Province of Light and becomes a Priest under the tutelage of High Arch Duke Rasperatos at age 16.

730 PMW: An ancient stone is revealed at Mt. Caligor, in the Province of Earth, which holds a dark power that could threaten the balance of the world and the influence of the Valkyrie. A young peasant, who found this stone, goes mad from it's power and begins to reek havoc in the neighboring towns. After one standard month of trying to fight this sorcerer, the Province of Light sends its strongest and youngest priest, Vilbrath, into battle, granting him the title of Templar and gives him his first sword. Vilbrath finds this sorcerer, along with the help of his brother, Vishael Secro II and his faithful friend Ciela, and they kill him, unable to persuade the sorcerer to give up the stone peacefully.

In a burst of uncontrollable power, Vilbrath realizes that the power the stone holds can change the very future of Ly'Koros and is filled with satisfaction at the fact that he had finally found something that could end the oppressive rule of the Valkyrie and free their people. Taking his two companions into his confidence, he uses the stone to imbue each of them with equal shares of the power, keeping them hidden for a time as they take the shattered stone back to the Province of Light and continue to deceive their leaders for the time being.

725 PMW: Once they had mastered the powers given to them, they leave and travel Eastward to the Country of Darkness, where they destroy the Ruler's army of assassins and Necromancers. Vilbrath then steals the power of their ruler, making him stronger. This cycle continues on, going from one country to the next, killing all the leaders who would not willfully join their regime until he eventually returns to the Province of Light and butchers the Arch Duke who tried to understand why Vilbrath had acted this way. With all the power of the elements, Ciela and Vishael return the fragments of power together to make Vilbrath as powerful as the Valkyrie. With this, he grants his companions the same power and raises an army to fight off the Gods.

720 PMW: Vilbrath proclaims himself Ruler of the Land and renames himself as Rathmostofar; only his trusted friends and advisers are allowed to call him by his true name, and his full name only, Vilbrathhethen. The Valkyrie War begins at the center of Ly'Koros. At the end of the fighting, the Gods try to banish Rathmostofar into the pits of darkness when the power of the stone overloads his body. With this power, he kills the father God and absorbs his power, turning Rathmostofar into a monster of destructive might. He uses this power to then revive his fallen army into demons and other such monsters and destroys the rest of the Valkyrie army. The remaining Valkyrie flee until such a time when they would fight again. Aeisteema, Rathmostofar's secret sister and heir to the Valkyrian throne, proclaims herself Queen of the Valkyrie and abolishes all ties she has with her brother, claiming he is her brother no longer but the spawn of Hell.

720PMW - 250PMW: Rathmostofar proclaims rule over his new realm, banishing the Valkyrie from his world and renames it as Chryma. He rules Chryma as Head of the House of the Divine; The Supreme House that controls the other six Houses. At this time, he grows curious as to where the stone, and thus his powers, actually came from and demands his scientists to construct their first space worthy vessel.

150PMW - 0PMW: With the ship finally constructed, he takes his team out into the reaches of space. With only primitive, yet powerful, engines at the time of its construction, it takes about 150 years for him to travel across three galaxies before he reaches the Republic Universe and witnesses the start of the Mandalorian Wars.

0PMW - To current time: Rathmostofar, after watching the world develop, approaches two of the Sith Lord's, Darth Draknor and Darth Ruin, after centuries of watching their galaxy, who welcome him into the Order of the Sith and Draknor takes him as his Apprentice after much heated debate and fighting for the right to be Draknor's apprentice. After some time, Rathmostofar is put on trial for treason against Darth Bane, the current Dark Lord who was actually murdered previously by Darth Ruin, and was executed. After four months of seclusion in the Void, Rathmostofar is revived by Draknor, the cost of which being that Rathmostofar had to give up his soul and serve the Satanis for all eternity. He willingly agrees and later kills his brother, Vishael Secro II, when his brother could not be reasoned with and tried to take the Chrymian throne.

After some more heated issues and relative blasphemies on Rathmostofar's part, he exiles himself into the dark space for a brief period of time to study the Yuuzhan Vong and integrate their technology into his own.  After that period, he returns to present time to find himself caught up in a few issues of concern to him...one of which is the training of his newest apprentice in the ways of the Gray Jedi, using the combined knowledge of the Light from his time as a priest, the dark times when he was a Sith and the vast, previously locked knowledge that he had gained from his time in the Void, a young woman known as Alanna Noymara; also known as Ultima.

After several months of training, Alanna grows to become a very powerful Gray Jedi, but due to circumstances surrounding the prophesy of the Fire Dancer, Rathmos believes that he must sacrifice himself for the good of his world, his ideology and the balance of the universe. Upon his death, his secret project that he kept from the Sith, awakens, known as Cruor.

(See Tab "Cruor Ochi; Arch Templar of Blood")

After a few more months after the events of Cruor, Rathmostofar's soul warps Cruor back into his own image, but it is not enough to sate Alanna, who was disturbed and alienated by him. When word spread that the Jedi order was trying to rebuild itself, Alanna felt compelled to leave the Dark Templars and join the Jedi, leaving behind the ancient ways taught to her and breaking the Fire Dancer prophesy. At this, Rathmostofar falls into depression and eventually dies yet again, but it is a mystery as to how he died. The assumption was that his love for Alanna was all that kept him tethered to the physical world, so when that occured, his soul broke into pieces, as what happens when Dark Templars die. Their Light half moving to join with the Force while the Dark half descends to the Underworld.
